The following steps are for setting up simple SMS alerts for your IT Infrastructure.
> Click here to log into Monro Cloud Monitoring.
> Log in with either your mobile number or email address.
Once you have logged in, navigate to:
> Alerts
> Actions
> Trigger Actions
> Create Action
> Enter a name such as SMS Alerts.
> Click Add .
> Select Trigger severity.
> Select Greater than or equals.
> Select High.
> Click Add again.
> Select Enabled check box.
Note : Excessive SMS' will result in automated disabling of your alerts. Do not select anything below High to avoid disruption.
> Select Operations .
> Under the Operations section click Add .
> Next to Send to users click Select .
> Select the users you want to receive SMS notifications - only internal IT staff is recommended.
> Set Send to media type to SMS .
> Leave all other options default and click Add .
> If you would like staff to receive SMS alerts when an incident is resolved, select Add next to Recovery options.
> Add the users who should receive incident resolved notifications.
> Set Send to media type to SMS .
> Click Add
> Leave all other options default and click Update.
> SMS Alerts have now been configured.
> Be sure to test the alerting system to ensure smooth performance.
